After Sandhurst and serving with the Grenadier Guards Martin started his business career developing property. His first public company deal was the take over of Norton Villiers Triumph Plc., the Classic British motorcycle company. He then founded Greystone Technologies, an Atlanta, USA based engineering company producing small capacity industrial gas plants. Greystone was later reversed into a Canadian mining company. Martin with an Army friend then took a manned guarding company through the ISO 9000 process, also acquiring a number of specialist security companies before the group was sold to one of the industry majors. Martin bought out the specialist security subsidiaries including Audit Com the UK’s largest technical security company, a due diligence company, an IT security business and an investigations business, which became the private equity arm of the newly formed Oasis Capital. Martin then added a financial service division for Oasis, buying Mayfair fund manager CAL Investments, and setting up a highly successful Cayman Island based debt fund. Martin founded Tier 1 FX a Malta based and regulated brokerage before founding Proliquidity a trade management and reporting platform. In subsequent years Oasis formed a finance subsidiary arranging debt and equity for corporate clients, XPrime Markets a London based FCA regulated institutional FX brokerage and XPrime Global Markets in Dubai, a specialist in prime brokerage, liquidity and global brokerage services.

Thomas Kimmeswenger was born in Zell am See, Salzburg and holds a college degree in electronics as well as a master's in economics and business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. A passionate finance expert and commodities trader, he spent several years with the Superfund Asset Management Group in Mauritius before founding his own company. Thomas lives with his family in Vienna and Tbilisi.

Jacob came to Oasis to become CEO of XPrime Markets. He joined us from MultiBank Group, a US owned global financial services group for which he was CEO from its formation in 2016. Jacob founded their new ASIC regulated derivatives brokerage based in Sydney Australia. Jacob recruited the management team, took the business through ASIC regulation, and then built it into a significant player in the Australian retail and institutional brokerage space. Before joining MultiBank Jacob was at Forex Global Pty Ltd where he spent five years in Sydney and Singapore as Executive Director of Business Development, concentrating on services to high frequency traders and fund managers. Jacob previously held senior executive positions at Vantage FX and Kinetic Securities in Sydney. Jacob is skilled in business development into emerging markets, in Australasia and through greater Asia to Europe, he understands the many challenges of dealing with different jurisdictions and regulators and adapting business structures to local laws and regulations. Jacob is a member of the Australian Securities Investment Commission and holds a BCom in Financial Economics from Massey University in Auckland with a post graduate degree in econometrics, alongside Diplomas in Managed Investments and Securities, and specialist knowledge in Derivatives and Foreign Exchange.

John has managed many complex projects during his time at Oasis Capital Group and was instrumental in setting up Tier1FX, our regulated spot markets brokerage. John controlled the trading systems specification, fit-out, commissioning & recruitment of executive teams. He also steered several of our businesses through financial regulatory and other approvals required to launch them, on time and budget. John is also our representative on the boards of many of the companies we are invested in. A serial entrepreneur, John has built and grown several businesses from the ground up, and then sold them profitably. John founded a document storage and electronic data business serving many of the largest City law firms and accounting practices, as well as UK Health authorities and other highly sensitive clients. John is a director and owner of Techmasters Security Services, a provider of technical security services to hedge funds, banks, UK Police, IPCC and other UK government agencies. His clients include big oil in the form of BP and Shell, several shipping majors (including shipping protection and armed anti-piracy tasks), specialist security projects in Nigeria and the Caspian region, Formula One teams, World Cup venues and other sport related projects, together with tasks for many high profile and high net worth clients.
